Please join us to fill in and expand the planting of low ground covers begun last spring. Thanks to Seattle Public Utility's efforts, those plants survived the hot and dry summer. New plantings will complement those and have a good chance to get established over the fall, winter and spring.
Bring water, work gloves and any favorite weeding and planting tools. We'll provide some gloves and tools, safety vests and light refreshments. If we get enough volunteers, we may be able to do a sweep of our adjacent Adopt-a-Street section along NW 54th St. and the Burke Gilman Trail. Meet in the west end of The Canal parking lot, south of NW 54th at 34th Ave NW.
